It seems that we have family pictures done, about every two years. Well, that's not accurate. More like it seems we have a set I like, every two years.
With the exception of one set of photos {taken in 2008}, Daniel and I have always taken our own. We set up the tripod, and try like crazy to get some decent shots. It's worked out okay, but I really wanted some pictures, where we didn't look too frazzled! I asked a friend, if she wanted to do a photo swap, and she agreed! So I took family pics for her, and she did ours!
Let me just say this... her kids were AMAZING! They were so cooperative, and all had cute smiles and faces! My children... not so much. Paige gets a pass, since she was only 8 months. Dmitri... he gets no pass! Even with his craziness, I was really happy with how they turned out! The one with his tongue out, is actually my favorite! Here are a couple of them -- 
Can I just say, what a pain outfit coordinating is?! There was so much stress, over our dang outfits! Mostly mine. I had ordered a shirt online, and it took forever to come! Once it did, I opened the package, and found they had sent me the wrong print. Blah!! But I think everything ended up working out, and coming together. 2012 family pics, done! :]
