My dear son broke my spacebar... again. But this time, he did some serious damage. He removed
the little nub, that allowed me to space words {he broke the plastic piece that goes over the space, last year. So I was just down to a nub}, but I can still type... it just takes a little longer....

We had a really fun week! We had some park time, and beach time... plus swimming time, and
friend time!
Last Tuesday, Dmitri kept asking to go to the park. I said yes, but we didn't end up getting out
of the house, until around noon. Holy cow, it was so hot! The sun was just beating down, on the
walk over. There was one big cloud, and when it covered the sun, sweet relief and a breeze, and
then in Hawaii style... it started sprinkling.
I thought that would be my excuse to head home, but by the time I got his attention, it stopped,
and the sun was back out. So we stayed... his face was bright red and sweaty, but he was having
fun!

There was this boy there, and Dmitri kept asking him to play. He'd run up to the kid, and ask,
but then the kid would turn and run back to his dad, or run the other direction. I felt bad for
Dmitri... he tried so hard. But ohwell. Another boy showed up, and asked Dmitri to play tag, so
they did that, then raced down the slide.
We also played some soccer. He loves kicking the ball around. I cannot wait to enroll him in
soccer! Just another year, and he'll be old enough to play! He's seriously a good little kicker!
He gets it from Daniel's side... they all played {and still play} soccer!

After some serious play time, we headed home. Daniel had text me, asking if I was up for the
beach, when he got home. Of course! So we got our stuff together, and headed out once he got
home.
He went to surf, and Dmitri and I played in the sand and water. The waves were SO strong!
I got taken out a couple times, and am fairly certain, that I flashed everyone on the beach! It
was not good... So after that embarrassment... Dmitri and I stayed on the beach...
There was this sweet little girl, that was bringing Dmitri her sand toys. He happily accepted,
especially since we forgot his sand bucket and toys... and of course didn't want to leave! It took
some serious convincing on my part! But it was a really fun day!
So Wednesday - Dmitri and I woke up early, to take Daniel to work. I had to go in for another
appointment, so dropped him off, then turned around and went back, a couple hours later.
We weren't running too far behind, but got stuck in the parking structure.
We get to OBGYN, and I took a number... then sat and waited to be called.
Altogether, I was running 10 mins behind my appointment. The receptionist calls my number, and asks if I realized I missed my appointment. Uhh... no. It's only 10 mins past - 5 of which I sat there, waiting for my number to be called!
So she called back to the nurse, to see if they still had time for me. The nurse thankfully didn't answer, so the lady said she'd let me go back anyway. Thank goodness!
The appointment went great! The doctor did an ultrasound, and the cyst is gone! So she said
we could start clomid again. She also said we could do IUI this month - so I am praying that
clomid does it's job! I also got lucky, and got the last packet. They had a delivery coming that afternoon. I just finished my second round on Sunday, and was lucky to have no side effects
again! But I hope I don't have another cyst... :[
Dmitri was so good through the whole appointment. He helped turn on and off the lights, for the
doctor, and just occupied his time, by playing with his Toy Story guys.

So Thursday, we had church playgroup. We headed to the park, and had a great time! Dmitri
brought his soccer ball... but was not very happy when his ball got taken away... I love this face :}
So on our way to the park, we may have encountered Dmitri's 'monsters' {I think I blogged
about him being scared by monsters}.

So we did some swimming, then headed home to clean up. We decided go to an early lunch, at
The Cheesecake Factory. We had a gift card, so we decided to finally put it to use!
Driving down there, traffic is inevitable! Dmitri had gone potty before we left, but right in the
middle of stop and go traffic... he suddenly had to pee, NOW!
There was no where to pull over... and all we had in the car, was a plastic Target bag, and some
napkins in the glove box. I lined the bag with the napkins, and told him to pee in the bag. He
says okay... and it looked like he was peeing... But when he said he was done, there was nothing in the bag! He said he didn't have to go anymore... maybe stage fright... but he was able to hold it, until we got to Cheesecake.
We also did some window shopping, and walked to Waikiki beach. I have a picture of me and
Dmitri, in front of the beach, but I look awful....... So just imagine us there, and me looking good :}

That evening, Dmitri and I went and did some shopping. Being in HI, and summer, it doesn't matter that his pants are too short - because he doesn't wear them right now. Also, the good
thing with shorts, is that they can last through a couple growth spurts! But most of his shorts
are well above his knees... and are getting too tight in the waist. So we went out and bought some
new ones. When I took the 3T's off the racks, they looked huge! We even went in the fitting room, to try them. They totally fit! When did my baby get so big?! 2t still seems baby to me. 3t
is completely little boy :(
But he'll always be my baby... no matter how big he gets!
and he's excited to grow up. Seriously... he's already obsessed with losing his teeth...
I love this boy!
Sunday, we were invited to a block party, with some friends from church. It was SO fun!! The
company was great, the food was great, it was an awesome night!
We had dinner, then some smores, made with Reese's cups. Yum!
Dmitri knows where the good seat is!
See... so yummy! Smores are the best!

Playing games
Dmitri was all about this duck backpack... and pink shopping cart...
So I love seeing before and after pics. I love editing photos, and sometimes go too far... but
I love it! So here's a before and after pic. I love Photoshop! I edit my feet out of a lot of pics...

Monday afternoon, Daniel came home from work, talking about Harry Potter. We hadn't gone
yet, because we needed to set up a sitter. Well he couldn't stand it anymore... and asked if I
was okay with him going. I said yes, he could go by himself. So Dmitri and I dropped him off, then went to Target, and attempted Costco - but my card was missing! Pretty sure it's in my other purse... So we just waited for Daniel to be done, then we all headed to Costco, for groceries and dinner. We do enjoy the Costco food court!
Today, we had a playdate! Dmitri's friends, Parker, Penelope, and Oliver came over to play.
Dmitri was SO excited! He kept asking, "My friends come over yet?" "My friends come play
in my room?" So he had so much fun - and only shed a few tears over toys! :)
Oh and yes... the mouse... We have been trying to catch it for a few weeks... with no success! So after talking to some friends, we were told that glue traps were the way to go. I hate glue traps.
But we had to get rid of this mouse! So we set some up on Sunday night, and Daniel woke me up
this morning, to tell me we caught it!! What?! So fast!
So he did what he did... and disposed of it. I had this feeling though, that it was not 'the mouse' and asked if it was gray. He said no, light brown. Ugh! So more than one mouse... awesome :[
Well he goes to work, I go back to sleep. I wake up, shower, and come out of the bedroom... and
hear suspicious noises! Well... mouse number 2, caught! I had placed a trap by the side of the
fridge, and that's where it was - and it was gray! But... Daniel wasn't home. So I started freaking
out! What do I do with it?!?! I didn't want to look at it, I didn't want it looking at me... I also didn't want to touch the trap! The mouse managed to wedge the trap under the broom! My thought was, get the trap stuck to the broom, and carry the broom out to the trash - then throw the broom away with it. But the dang broom wouldn't stick!!
So I sat down, and text Daniel. He told me I just needed to do it.... Ugh! So I get up the courage, and I got a corner of the broom to stick, and carried it to the door... then the trap dropped!! I had to get a bag, and scoop it in the bag with the dust pan!! It was awful!! Then I picked up the bag with the broom, and carried it to the dumpster! Ugh. I know, totally inhumane, but that was all I could do! My legs were shaky and I was all sweaty!! It was a horrible experience! And I really hope there were only two! I'm going to put down more tonight, just in case. Blah!
Oh, and lastly... Tonight was enrichment night, but I wasn't feeling up for going. Daniel was asked to help babysit... so he took Dmitri with him. Dmitri had so much fun... but stopped to get
a drink, and slipped. He hit his eye on the drinking fountain... poor guy! So this was the picture
that Daniel sent me...

So that was our week. And I have some random pics too! Did I mention I'm addicted to Instagram??
Dmitri was hiding from me, at church on Sunday... so cleaver :}

He also tore Spiderman apart... and put his head on his arm...

He woke up at 6:30am... and we were watching tv. I love his
little hand on my arm!

He likes to dress himself.... :}

Heading out to do some shopping... with a rainbow overhead!

This is not instagram... but I sent it to my sisters! :}
And no, it's not blood. I just let them think it was....
It's just cherry juice, from cutting the seeds out of the
cherries! They both told me I was sick and disgusting....
Meh.

Okay... lastly lastly... some cute Dmitriness!
Sunday, Daniel was helping him find socks. Daniel said, "Let's find some good socks." Dmitri said,
"No, I find some naughty socks."
Love him!
