I meant to blog earlier, but the morning got away
from me!
So I forgot to blog about something very important
in my last post. Dmitri had his first dentist appt on
Friday the 31st.
We jazzed him up for it, and he was so excited. He'd
even practice saying awww and showing his teeth.
A good sign!
I also had a dentist appt, so we made it a family
affair, and Daniel came to be with Dmitri.
When we were in the waiting room, Dmitri kept
wanting to go to the back and see the dentist.
When we were called back... I went to my room,
and Daniel took Dmitri to his. Daniel said the
moment they walked in the room, Dmitri just
started screaming! There wasn't even anyone
in the room! Not good...
So pretty much, Daniel had to sit in the chair,
and hold Dmitri's arms and legs down, while he
was screaming. I could hear him on the other
side of the office. My hygienist kept telling me
that they deal with screaming kids all the time,
and not to worry about it. She said she brought
her two year old in the week before, and her
daughter screamed the whole way through.
So what can you do?
But through all his screaming, Daniel said he
opened his mouth for the dentist, and would
do what the dentist asked. So that's good at
least!
But his teeth look great, and he has all the
teeth he's suuposed to. So he's good for 6
months. He was pretty excited about his
toothbrush and toothpaste they gave him,
and was eager to show them to me.
First dentist appointment, check.
I on the other hand, have a couple cavities.
Of course. I've already had two filled, but
go in at the end of the month for more. Blah!
So anywhos... I mentioned getting a silhouette,
and have done a couple more things with it.
I think I've also mentioned my love of glass
jars. If I haven't, well I'll tell you now. I love
glass jars! Seriously, spaghetti jars and jam
jars... I consider them a gift with purchase.
I saved a bunch throughout last year, and
used them for treats to handout. Let's ignore
the fact that a handful of them have yet to
be mailed out..... But I also used them to
hold stuff in my kitchen. So I went ahead and
made labels for them!
My awesome friend Lauren made some for
my sugar and flour jar, so I tried to match
them. The silhouette recognizes every font I
have... except for my favorite font {Suzanne Quill}!
But I figured out that I can make to label in
photoshop, save it, and then trace it in the
silhouette program. Awesome!!
So here they are... kinda fun

He wanted in on the pics...
I also made this. Kind of hard to see through
the M&M's
So I'd say pee pee... he's potty trained.
Poop, I think we've overcome the hurdle
and we're getting there! Wootwoo!
I don't know what this was about... but it
was interesting
And my always 'happy helper'
Then he decided to help fold laundry.... it
was pretty tiring though ;)
And lastly... he loves being a puppy. He especially
loves getting puppy treats!
He's pretty cute ;)
