About Me

My photo
We are Daniel and Sara. We met October of 2006 and were married August of 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then we're kind of in the fast lane. We both got the baby bug pretty early on in our marriage and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Dmitri in August 2008! We couldn't be happier! Daniel is a Captain in the Army and has his Bachelors in Nursing. We're living in HI and so far are enjoying our time here! I'm a stay at home mommy and am looking forward to finishing school. Blah :} Dan enjoys; hunting, basketball, shooting ranges, movies, *sigh - video games and Halloween. Sara enjoys; crocheting, baking, aquariums, sewing, shopping, swimming and trying to get organized. Dmitri enjoys; trying new food, crawling, bath time, stroller rides, electronics and getting into things he shouldn't. It takes all kinds to make up a family - and we cherish and love our little family! :)

Take two... or three!

Well... Santa pictures didn't go as well as I had hoped.
I had pumped Dmitri up all day, and he was more than
excited to go see Santa! He even requested hot chocolate.

Well... refusal to nap all day, meant a dead sleep in the
car on the way to see Santa.
We should have woken him up before getting out of the
car, but we let him sleep until we got in line. The line was
two people long, so come our turn - he was groggy - and
not in the mood.
He didn't even want Daniel to put him down. Though when
he saw Santa, he did scream "SANTA!!" "LOOK, SANTA!"
And then put his head back down to go to sleep.

So we opted to take our own photo again. This year wasn't
as successful - meaning Dmitri wasn't looking, and Santa
was talking, and Daniel joined in.

I might opt for a take two, and take Dmitri down again.
We shall see!
But we did get hot chocolate... and he got a ticket for the
train. Which was apparently all he wanted. He just wanted
to hand the guy his ticket. So we have to go back anyway,
and try to make use out of it.
Here are our two photos. Not horrible, but not what I was
hoping for. Maybe I'll try and photoshop Dmitri's eyes in
the first one ;)
Chatty Cathy's!We didn't really get a good start. He wasn't up for
wearing the button up. Tired eyes.....And a tired boy...Santa gave him a cookie, which he thought was
to special to open. Though he did eventually
indulge :)Chillaxin' with his "hot chocolat!"So we got home, and had a late dinner.
Tuesday night, I was cooking dinner, and Dmitri
says, "Look mommy!" I looked, and he had sat
Tigger and his bear at the table for dinner. So I
went along with it, and made a plate for Tigger
and bear.
After that, we watched Winnie the Pooh and
Tigger Too, because it was on tv. Dmitri loved
it. Daniel had a big computer gaming night... so
we left him alone, and let him play :}Anywhos, so last night he sat his friends at the
table again. I seriously died laughing, when I saw
the choo choos sitting at the table for dinner.
They were too short, so he got them a stool X}I didn't make them plates last night, because I
told him Tigger and Bear didn't eat their dinner
the night before. He was okay with that :)

So since my friend got the stocking, I can blog
about it now!
My good friend Heather, has a baby girl due this
month. And I wanted to make a stocking for her.

It was fun to make - and I tried to fashion it after
their other 3 stockings. So yes, super fun! And stockings are so fun
to make!! :D

  1. I am so in love with the stocking. It seriously is the best one out of all of ours. I can't thank you enough, I know Lyla will love it.
I like the picture of every talking with Santa. Looks like they're getting good advice.
