Packing.

Well... slacking. I'm pretty sure I'm going to

need another suitcase... so I need to go scope
one out tomorrow.

Daniel left this past Saturday. He was supposed
to leave Friday, but he called and got his ticket
changed to Saturday, so he could go to the 'guys
day out' with his friends.

Dmitri and I didn't do much Friday. Just some
errands, and hung out. But it wasn't bad.
We found out Dmitri has some favorite movies,
well, movies he'll sit through longer than others.
One, Dumbo. We've watched it 4 times since
Weds. And also, he has a revived interest in Toy
Story. He's not picky, he'll watch 1,2 or 3. So we've
watched a lot of Toy Story....

We {Dmitri and I} also took my little sister Candice
dress shopping, for a masquerade dance dress.
She found a cute little black dress, that she accented
with lime green. She look adorable - er... beautifully
cool ;)

Saturday, we packed up a lot of stuff. Daniel took
a bag full of mine and Dmitri's stuff back home,
to lighten our load. So that was nice of him!
We also stopped by his mom's house, so he could
say goodbye.
After that, it was off to the airport. I kept getting
that sad feeling, like I was sending him off to Texas
again. I had to keep reminding myself that I'd see
him in 3 days. But it was still sad saying bye, then
driving away.
I was actually hoping Dmitri would fall asleep on
the way to the airport, because I knew he'd flip out.
He didn't... and he did flip out.
He ended up crying himself to sleep on the drive
back to my parents, and when he woke up, he
started crying for Daniel again. He loves his daddy!

Later that afternoon, my sister's and mom offered
to watch Dmitri, while I did some errands. One stop,
some neckties for Dmitri. I'm obsessed. I've been
obsessed since I bought his first one... around a year.
He seriously has like 30... and I'm considering making
my own for him. We shall see. The seem easy enough,
and I've found some patterns... so we'll see!

The ties he's acquired since we've been hereSaturday night we got a visit from my SIL Lorraine,
and Steve.
Steve was kind enough to add some cool stuff to my
computer... so I'm stoked! Dmitri was surprised to see
them at the door, but he was happy they came over,
because he got to show off and do some tricks and jumps
for them. He is a ham.

Daniel is back in Hawaii. He had a pretty good flight.
He said he got some really good sleep, because he
had the row all to himself! Lucky. And they played
a good movie. We'll see if Dmitri and I will be as lucky!

He was kind enough to clean up some dead cockroaches
to were on the floor... which I am so so grateful for!
So yes, he's happy to be back - in his own bed, in his
own house, after 5 months of living out of a suitcase! :)

And we can't wait to be back with him! I'm sad to leave
everyone, especially during the holidays... but I'm ready
to be home and back in our routine!

Plus I need to start my holiday crafting and shopping! :)
