Daniel, Sara, Dmitri & Paige: A random Saturday post!

WAHOO!! Daniel is home!

Dmitri and I picked him up on Thursday night.
And for the first time... we actually got there
before he landed!!
That afternoon - I told Dmitri that daddy was on
an airplane, on his way home. So all afternoon, he'd
hear an airplane, and stop. Then he'd get serious,
point up and say "daddy" very quiet and serious :}
I just kept telling him, no, not that plane. Or no, he's
not here yet.

The airport was packed, so we ended up having
to circle around a few times to find a spot.
Dmitri hadn't really napped that day - so I debated
taking him.
At first I wanted him to be awake, so he'd be
able to see and say hi to Daniel.
But, he started acting naughty... so I took him
knowing that he'd fall asleep in the car. And he did.

So the next morning, Daniel and I had woken up,
and were sitting in the bedroom, and Dmitri wakes
up. He lifts his head, eyes half closed... and puts his
head down to go back to sleep. But then, he does a
double take - looks at Daniel - and jumps out of bed
and into Daniel's lap and hugs him!!
He was so so happy to see Daniel!

Friday, we decided to get out and enjoy the leaves
and beautiful fall colors!
The leaves have really changed the past few weeks,
and the leaves have started to fall this past week.
When I saw the leaves on the ground, I'd get sad
thinking Daniel would miss all the fall colors and
scenery {we are HUGE fall fans!}, but luckily they
stayed, and are still here for him to enjoy them!

So we decided on Gardner Village, a favorite of
ours. It's all decked out for Halloween, and the
weather was PERFECT!
I went on picture overload... but everything was
just so beautiful!

grossed out by the "byders"

I absolutely love these two!!

Dmitri had a little crush on this girl. He went up
to her, and tried to get her to look at him. He
lightly patted her jacket - and even tried following
her around :}

So, we thought face painting was a must!

This girl was super fast! He wasn't scared, she
just told him to lay his head down.

"Ewww.... byders..."

Friday was fantastic!
That night, Daniel had a LAN party to go to.
It was a sleep over one, and they played from
4pm - to 4 pm. There was sleeping... and set up
time, so it wasn't a true 24 hours. But that's how
long he was there. And I'm sure loving it :)

Dmitri and I dropped him off for the party, and
I was worried how Dmitri would react, saying
goodbye to Daniel.
But he was so sweet, and just said "Bye daddy.
Bye, have fun!"
Such a relief!

Today {Saturday} we woke up to RAIN! It was
glorious and perfect! I love a good rainy day!
My mom made a huge breakfast - and we just had
an awesome morning!

Tonight we attended a Halloween party. Our friend
Mike and Jennie's 6th annual to be exact!
I actually met them at the first Halloween party I
attended out theirs. Daniel and I had only been
dating a few weeks then.

So our costumes, we went as Popeye and Olive Oyl.
Luckily Daniel had already been Popeye, and still
had the arms he made for it! Mine was pretty easy,
I already had a black skirt... and just got a red long
sleeve and added a collar. I tried spraying my hair
black... and it was awful. It stuck - and was so so
crunchy!

So we had an awesome night! Dmitri stayed
home, and Auntie Cassie watched him.
He was sound asleep when we got home. Can't
complain about that!

So I had to write this post, because I don't know
when my next one will be!
We are headed to LA tomorrow, and will be down
there for a week! We'll hit up Disneyland, Sea World,
Universal Studios - and some other places!
I cannot wait!!! Just to see Dmitri's reaction when
he sees Disneyland! He already loves Meeekey... :}

He loved that he had an American flag on the arm, just
like daddy's!

And of course a trip to Target, after dropping
Daniel off at the LAN party.
Dmitri usually gets an Icee when we go to Target,
and he always wants to sit down - but we don't
do that too often.
So when he asked if we could sit, I decided why
not. So we sat, and people watched. He loved it.
