About Me

My photo
We are Daniel and Sara. We met October of 2006 and were married August of 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then we're kind of in the fast lane. We both got the baby bug pretty early on in our marriage and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Dmitri in August 2008! We couldn't be happier! Daniel is a Captain in the Army and has his Bachelors in Nursing. We're living in HI and so far are enjoying our time here! I'm a stay at home mommy and am looking forward to finishing school. Blah :} Dan enjoys; hunting, basketball, shooting ranges, movies, *sigh - video games and Halloween. Sara enjoys; crocheting, baking, aquariums, sewing, shopping, swimming and trying to get organized. Dmitri enjoys; trying new food, crawling, bath time, stroller rides, electronics and getting into things he shouldn't. It takes all kinds to make up a family - and we cherish and love our little family! :)

Let the festivities begin!

We've been getting into the Halloween spirit
over here!Align Center
My dad pulled out most the decorations on
Friday, and we started decorating the inside,
and outside of the house.
Dmitri's favorite part, the outside! He loves
any chance he can get outside, and he loves
helping his papa.
This guy - hiding in the bushes. He lights up,
then off... then on. He has hands and feet in
there somewhere.
Love this!
The tree has orange lights all over it. They
were off in the pic, but they look really cool!
Niles is a good sport... :}
Saturday was our nephew Ian's 5th birthday!
We went a little earlier to help out, and Dmitri
enjoyed the time with his cousins Conner and Ian.

Once everyone showed up - we started with some
bouncing, in the bounce house. Probably Dmitri's
favorite thing! He loves bounce houses!After that, the kids took a swing at the pinata.
When it burst open, Dmitri put his hands to his
face and says, "OOH! OH! COOL, LOOK! OH!"
And then ran and grabbed some candy :}
He thought the pinata was awesome! He kept
hitting it, even after the candy was out, to see
if there was anything else left in there. Dmitri snacked the entire time we were there.
But he did enjoy his cupcake. And I was happy
he kept everything in his belly!!We also took a couple grandkid pictures. The
kids were lined up from youngest, to oldest.
7 boys... and 1 girl!
And some pics of the birthday boy!
And my little Dimy!
Some of the treats and festivities!
My SIL even made her own caramel!!
Sheriff badges
Cowboy hats and sheriff badges!
Gorgeous views at their place!
SOOO tired... and covered in icing :}
He was asleep within 2 minutes of getting
in the car
So we had a fantastic Saturday :)

Today, Dmitri woke up in the silliest mood!
And it stayed with him for awhileI also took some pics of my sister in the
skirt I made!Chloe and Candice
And me and my sweet boy!
After the party, Dmitri was really chatty.
So I took advantage, and got him to say some
of his cousin's names!

  1. I just don't like Halloween. It use to not bother me but I'd say in the last 6 years I really just started not liking it.
    Does your SIL have instructions for how to make those hat cookies? I thought you did something similar awhile back.
    And that jump house! I've not seen one like that before. Seems more little kid friendly and I think Andrew would like that kind. It's not that scary caged in feeling.
