About Me

My photo
We are Daniel and Sara. We met October of 2006 and were married August of 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then we're kind of in the fast lane. We both got the baby bug pretty early on in our marriage and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Dmitri in August 2008! We couldn't be happier! Daniel is a Captain in the Army and has his Bachelors in Nursing. We're living in HI and so far are enjoying our time here! I'm a stay at home mommy and am looking forward to finishing school. Blah :} Dan enjoys; hunting, basketball, shooting ranges, movies, *sigh - video games and Halloween. Sara enjoys; crocheting, baking, aquariums, sewing, shopping, swimming and trying to get organized. Dmitri enjoys; trying new food, crawling, bath time, stroller rides, electronics and getting into things he shouldn't. It takes all kinds to make up a family - and we cherish and love our little family! :)

Down on the farm!

Another title for this post - the best $3.50 I ever spent.

We had an impromptu playdate! I was planning on taking
Dmitri to the farm at Thanksgiving Point, but hadn't quite
made it there. So when my friend Jennie asked what Dmitri
and I were up to, it was decided that the Farm was a must,
and that Jennie and Sophie had to join us!

I'm so glad they did, because it was much more fun with them
there. Dmitri always has fun with Sophie. And really, they are
darling together!

I know, picture overload. I'm good at that. But enjoy ;)
PS... they're backwards and mixed up... so in no particular
order.

LOVE this handsome boy!
checking out the crop info
Sophie was ready to ditch us for this group.... :}
Sigh... Dmitri loves goats...
And I hate these.... I've yet to be spit on... and I'm grateful!
So with your ticket purchase, you could either ride
the wagon, or the horses.
We had planned on riding the wagon, but there was
no one around to operate it... so I think Sophie said
she wanted to ride a horse. I didn't have much faith
in Dmitri riding the horse, but I figured it was worth
a shot.
So we go in, the kids pick a horse {Sophie picked the
biggest horse, but she was swayed towards a smaller
one, for her own safety! She's too cute!}
And she LOVED it!
So did Dmitri... promise. He was just concentrating... :}
on how he could pet it, and not fall off. Success!
I'm still so surprised Dmitri rode the horse. He loves
them, but I didn't think he'd ride it.
But he happily got on, held on, and went.
I will confess, my heart stopped for a second when the
horses started moving. I was half expecting to catch him! :}
Before they went riding. Sophie was counting the
horses for me!
Sigh... I wanted one, so so bad. DUCKLINGS!!!
Sophie checking out the baby bunnies.
The jail was so fun!
And the gentlemen..... Dmitri..... we'll work on that.
more...
ADORABLE!!!
I'd spend $3.50 just for him to play in this room!
The conveyor belt, it was on a timer, so when it was
off, the kids would go play. But you could hear it start
back up, and they'd get SO excited!!!
Aww... baby chickens
Making milk
Weighing the feed
So we had A LOT of fun! I'd totally go back. After
the farm, we walked around the garden and amphitheater.
I didn't take my camera, but I totally wish I had!
It was beautiful. {a little bit of it}After that, we had lunch. I snapped some pics with
my phone.
Sophie and Dmitri got a little restless towards the end
of lunch, so they were sent to sit at the bar.They lady behind the counter was kind enough to give
them each a bowl of M&M's. I thought it was totally
sweet, and they loved it!Some random pics on my camera.
... silly faces!
Crashing Papa and Oma's bed
One more month until Daniel is DONE! :D
