So much FUN!!

Hello... and goodbye weekend! They always go so fast...

Friday we met some friends at the mall, to check out the
dinosaur exhibit and train.
The mall always has these cool things going on, and Dmitri
has been mesmerized by the dinosaurs everytime we go,
so we decided to check it out further.

We bought our ticket for the train, and stood in line. He
was so excited!! He'd point everytime the train passed and
get even more excited. So I thought that was a good sign.So it's finally our turn, and we walk over to the train. Dmitri's
friend Kaden gets right in and buckled. I pick Dmitri up to
put him in... and no. Instant tears. He would not let go of me,
or sit down! So the girls working there suggest switching
Kaden and Dmitri, since Dmitri's seat was in the back... and
Kaden's in the middle, but nope, still didn't work. So we
forfeited this time.
When we walked back behind the gate, Dmitri kept trying to
grab Kaden's hand and get him to come too, almost like he
was trying to save him... it was cute!
But Kaden rode - and we waved to him. Luckily our ticket is
good for another month, since he didn't ride today. Lol I guess
it's a pretty routine thing for the people that run it :}
I think next time, I wont carry him and put him on the train.
I'll have him walk over and climb in.

So we had Dmitri holding my hand through the mall... and
then had Kaden holding Dmitri's hand. It was so so cute!
At first Dmitri didn't know what he was supposed to do,
so his arm was straight out, and stiff as a board. But then
he started to get it and relaxed. But they were so cute and
fairly diligent about it - and were such good listeners!

So after the train, we went to the bounce house and let the
kids let their energy out! Always a hit! They had more houses
this time, and more kids! I assume because it's summer. But
it was fun, and I got to climb in one and bounce with them :)So after bouncing... we headed to the other side of the mall,
and checked out the rest of the dinosaurs.
This one was really cool, and it's head got pretty close. Kaden
was NOT a fan... especially when his mom tried to show him
it was okay :}

So our dino experience was topped off with some Cold Stone,
and then home! So it was an excellent afternoon!

Also... Friday Daniel had his second test. He got another 95%!!
He said this one was harder, and different then the last, so I'm
so proud of him!
Good job babes!! :D

Alright, Saturday we got a visit from our friend Averie. Her
parents went to see a movie, so she got to hangout with us
for a bit! She is such a doll, and was so good!
Dmitri was good with her, though he did get possessive of
his toys a few times... :)

Later that afternoon, we went to a birthday party! Dmitri's
friend Maggie turned 4, and celebrated with a fun pool party!

The pool was crowded! There was a group of boys, that were
about 5 and 6 years old... and they were doing flips into the pool.
Dmitri would get out of the pool with them, and stand on the
side of the pool with them, then count and bend he's knees like
he was about to jump, then when they jumped... he ran back to
the stairs, jump onto the first step, and join them in the pool.
Lol then start the whole thing again. I wish I had gotten a video
of it, but was too late! Boo!

But the party was so fun! And we ate some yummy food! So
it was a good day as well!!

don't be fooled! He had so much fun, and ran around with
everyone and swam and wore himself out!
This was our last time in the pool, before we went home.

After the party, we blew bubbles out front, and colored with
chalk... and then Dmitri passed out on the ottoman :}So it was a good weekend!!
