About Me

My photo
We are Daniel and Sara. We met October of 2006 and were married August of 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then we're kind of in the fast lane. We both got the baby bug pretty early on in our marriage and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Dmitri in August 2008! We couldn't be happier! Daniel is a Captain in the Army and has his Bachelors in Nursing. We're living in HI and so far are enjoying our time here! I'm a stay at home mommy and am looking forward to finishing school. Blah :} Dan enjoys; hunting, basketball, shooting ranges, movies, *sigh - video games and Halloween. Sara enjoys; crocheting, baking, aquariums, sewing, shopping, swimming and trying to get organized. Dmitri enjoys; trying new food, crawling, bath time, stroller rides, electronics and getting into things he shouldn't. It takes all kinds to make up a family - and we cherish and love our little family! :)

Fun filled!!

Last night I got to sneak out, and go to a baby shower
for a friend of mine.
It was definitely nice to get out and mingle with friends.

Ummm... and enjoy the best cream puffs in the world.
I had to have a second one. They had like chocolate
mousse in the middle, and some type of butter frosting.
Like butter pecan or something.
I need to find out who made them... because I need the
recipe!!

Today, we beat the crowd and headed out to Ko' Olina.
If you get there aftr 10, you run the risk of it being full.
And it sucks getting turned away after you've spent so
much time getting ready and driving there!

Luckily we did beat the crowd, and had an awesome
time there!
Daniel hadn't been to the beach in awhile, and I was
glad we ended up going.
Daniel and I got a little toasty... and Dmitri had so much
fun playing with his daddy in the water!

Dmitri also found his shadow. He was walking along the
trail, and he looked down and saw it. Then he'd jump
around while watching it, and then run one direction, then
the other. Look down, and see that it was still following him.

It was too funny - and of course I didn't have my camera
with me then!
But I did snap some pics.
Picture overload!
While we were there, we ran into a couple with
a 2 year old boy. They were actually from Orem,
which I thought was funny.
We've ran into quite a few people from Utah while
we've been here.

Anyways, last night Daniel had another kickball
game. And Dmitri and I got to go an watch.

Dmitri had fun cheering for everyone. Lol if they
did good or bad. He also had fun getting other people
to hold him, and waving to daddy.
Unfortunately his team was ahead, but then lost in
the last inning {is it an inning in kickball? I forget},
but Daniel did awesome! He even got to steal home,
so we were proud of him! :)

I tried taking pics... but my camera wasn't working
with the light :[
Here's a couple that did turn out.
Kind of...Good times! And an excellent day!

  1. I'm always blown away by your pics! I mean it's just so foreign to me that on a day off, you'd go to the beach - somewhere warm & tropical - somewhere that I only see on vacations! I suppose the same could be true of people seeing my pics from the mountains or whatever, but yeah...I'm jealous! Your pics are always so colorful and lovely!! :D

  2. Awe! Thanks AC! :D I guess it is the same as you going to the mountains on your day off. Daniel and I are getting the camping bug... but it's just not the same as it is in UT!

  3. Love your beach pictures. Ahhh, to be in Hawaii.
That's cool that there is a kick ball league. It's probably more fun to watch then softball.
