On the go!

So again today - I focused on keeping Dmitri
busy, busy, busy!
We had a play date at the park - and he had
a blast!
There was a local playgroup there as well - so
it made for a nice little group.

Dmitri loved climbing up and down the slides,
he also liked the rock wall - other peoples bags.
Hmm.

But anywhos - I decided to walk over - and
regretted that decision a bit once we started.
I felt like I was walking backwards. And the sun
was shining brightly.

But we got there - and the kiddies had fun.
We let them play in an open tennis court. Which
was perfect because it was like a giant playpin!
They had a good time chasing after and kicking
the balls.
So it was a good time - and Dmitri came home
dirty. So that always means it was successful :)

Well we headed home for a nap - and that didn't
go too well. Daniel was off today, and tackled a
few things in Dmitri's room. So he was in there
while Dmitri was supposed to be napping. Which
meant Dmitri was more interested in what Daniel
was doing then napping.
So after 45 mins - I took him out and we went to
the store for groceries. He took about a half hour
nap in the car - so that was a plus at least.

After the store we met up for an impromptu playdate
at the pool. Dmitri got to practice his mad swimming
skills - and I got some color. Win win!
Today I had Dmitri sitting on the edge of the pool,
then jumping off to me. At first he was not sure
about it. But after a few times of me pulling him in,
he started doing it on his own. Needless to say he
thinks he's cool stuff - and does not want help!

I kept him up the rest of the afternoon. Which wasn't
so easy come 5 o'clock. But we had dinner - then it
was bath time and then off to bed.
I did end up rocking him to sleep - but it was less
then 10 minutes before he was out.

So I don't know if tonight was good or bad as far
as that. I guess I just gave into him.
Man - I'm probably confusing this poor kid! Or
letting him win. I just don't know.
But he's asleep.

And me too! I'm pooped. Too much running around
for me too!

I kicked myself for not taking my camera to the
park.
So I'll have to find some pics.
I just can't post without pics!
{back at 9 months. I miss him being so little!}
