Our Halloween wasn't too bad.
Except that Daniel had to work :[
Halloween is his favorite holiday - and
and he hasn't been able to partake the
last two years.
Last year he was in Texas for OTC and
this year he worked.
Well we did have a highlight! We headed
over to help our friends with some Twinkie
mummies and pretzel mummies.
Since I wasn't planning on taking Dmitri
out - I dressed him in his costume and we
headed on over!
It took him a bit to get used to his boots.
When I first put him down - he just stood
there - frozen :}
He did end up getting used to them, but
for the most part just went around in his
socks.
{Ava liked his hat!}
{Dmitri liked her antennas!}
{and they both liked the candy -wrappers}
SHOW DOWN!
After mummies {which turned out adorable!}
Dmitri and I headed home.
But FIRST we stopped for some pictures.
He was the cutest cowboy :]

So the rest of our evening was spent chillin'
at home.
Our ward didn't put anything on - but
I'm hoping they do next year!
I bought a big bag of candy anticipating some
trick or treaters - yea - none.
Apparently our street isn't a happening
place!
Ohwell.
I wonder what the return policy on candy is...
It was fine though. I have been hit with
allergies! So ontop of not sleeping well, but
also being exhausted - I have the constant
need to sneeze. But no sneeze ever comes!
And my head kills :[
Dmitri has a bit of allergies too. Either that
or teeth. But he's had a bit of a runny nose.
At least it's clear! Was that TMI?
Today we went to church. I was able to
get some energy - which was nice!
And one of the girls in my class drew me
a sweet picture - which totally made my day :]
Daniel wrangled Dmitri - which was pretty
tough today. All Dmitri wanted to do was
go and be social. But then go home and sleep.
So needless to say a lot of napping went on
at our house today.
And I could go for another one right now.
Or maybe bedtime :\
Oh - here's Dmitri last year
And in his costume!
Hope everyone had an awesome HALLOWEEN!!

Dmitri looks adorable as a cowboy!!
ReplyDeleteWow! he's grown so much. which you would expect in a full years time anyway.
ReplyDeleteboo that you didn't get any trick or treaters. I dont' think a lot of people do it anymore. At Matthew's aunt and uncles house, his aunt said they probably got about the same amount as last year, And I remember them complaining about not having a lot.
