Today is mine and Daniel's anniversary.
Our 2 year anniversary!
Crazy how times flies - and even crazier
how much life has changed!
Here we are two years later, living in HI
and we have a one year old. Ahh!
The day we got married - it was quite a
hectic morning! Our reception was in my
parent's backyard - so we were out there
that morning setting things up.
Our wedding was later in the afternoon,
so we had some time to dilly dally.
I remember my mom was SOOO sick
that day. Lol and not depressed sick - like
actually sick. My dad had to almost hold
her up while we were walking to the
temple.
She spent our reception laying in bed.
But we saved some cake for her :}
I remember once we got to the temple,
and we were being directed where to go,
I was getting really annoyed.
I felt totally rushed, and the temple
workers were driving me nuts.
Not a nice thing to say - but they were.
There was one older lady in particular
that was really pushy and kept telling
me what to do.
There were a few times I wanted to turn
into a Bridezilla and say,
IT'S MY WEDDING DAY!
I'LL DO WHAT I WANT!
:}
My mom thought it was funny - but I
was annoyed. Maybe it was nerves - who
knows.
:)
I remember once we went in for the
ceremony, I just kept starring straight
ahead.
I was on the verge of tears through the
whole thing - so starring straight ahead
kept me focused on not crying :}
Of course I totally burst into tears after
the ceremony. I think it was one of Daniel's
aunts that hugged me and said something,
and I totally started bawling.
But it was good crying!
Daniel was so sweet through everything.
He held my hand, and was so patient.
Lol so I'm glad my nerves didn't wear on
him!
So that was our wedding day. Hopefully
I didn't jump around too much writing
it!
I also remember it was raining on and
off - and it was SOOO hot!
{they say rain is good luck on a wedding day}
We were taking pics - and I had beads
of sweat running down my back.
But at the reception, the clouds were so
pretty! They were totally storm clouds,
but the sun was reflecting off them - and
the sky just looked beautiful. There was
also some lightening in the Provo direction.
It was just a beautiful day!
Daniel and I talk about the things we
would have changed looking back.
Just simple things - like the cake, and
and food. Stuff like that.
:}
Ohwell!
I guess that stuff doesn't matter in
the eternal prospective.
But still.....
;)
So 2 years down - eternity to go!

ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary, Surrr! XD
Love this post!! I love hearing about people's weddings. Sometimes I look back at my wedding day and think of things I'd like to change. Mostly our photographer. And that we got married at 8 in the morning. Never book your airline tickets for your honeymoon before you actually have the ceremony time set. That was a LONG day. You look absolutely gorgeous! and I love your flowers too!!
ReplyDeleteHey Sara! Congrats...I totally LOVED your wedding dress! :0)
