About Me

My photo
We are Daniel and Sara. We met October of 2006 and were married August of 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then we're kind of in the fast lane. We both got the baby bug pretty early on in our marriage and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Dmitri in August 2008! We couldn't be happier! Daniel is a Captain in the Army and has his Bachelors in Nursing. We're living in HI and so far are enjoying our time here! I'm a stay at home mommy and am looking forward to finishing school. Blah :} Dan enjoys; hunting, basketball, shooting ranges, movies, *sigh - video games and Halloween. Sara enjoys; crocheting, baking, aquariums, sewing, shopping, swimming and trying to get organized. Dmitri enjoys; trying new food, crawling, bath time, stroller rides, electronics and getting into things he shouldn't. It takes all kinds to make up a family - and we cherish and love our little family! :)

Catching up on projects!

The pics are acting up!
This whole post is acting up.
I can't get the top line to not
be underlined. Grr!
Anywhos - today was fine.
Dmitri and I hung out - Daniel
slept.
He had a hard night last night.
One of his patients was acting up,
and not cooperating.
:[
I'm excited that tonight is his
last night shift.
Woohoo!
And he's having an easy night
so far. Just one patients.
And it's a good patient.

I finished up the birthday gift
for our niece Ashlyn.
I made her a doll - and a cape.

I was talking to our 5 year old
nephew about a month ago
[her brother] and he said that
I need to make a cape for Ashlyn.
One with dolls and hearts on it.

I made him [Kallan] a cape and
Ashlyn an apron when their
sister Morgan was born - and
my sister-in-law said that
Ashlyn wears her apron backwards
and pretends it's a cape too!
How cute is that?!

So per Kallan's request - I made
Ashlyn her own cape.
I searched and SEARCHED for
doll fabric - but came up empty
handed.
But I did find this cute fairy print.
Hopefully it will suffice!
Her doll is also dressed in the same
fabric - so they match.

The post is not letting me rearrange
my pics - so the doll is further down.
So hopefully I can get to the post
office tomorrow and mail her present
out.

Dmitri wanted his pic taken - so
of course I obliged!
Here's his mini photoshoot - and
some other photos from today.
Mmm - so I've been hit
hard by allergies.
The drowsy - burning - watery
eyes.
Itchy nose - weird throat.
Dull headache and
a constant urge to sneeze,
but of course no sneeze comes out.
And then there's the
uncontrolled random runny nose.
Who doesn't love a surprise drop of
snot every now and then?
;)
So I've been mighty lazy today.
I'm actually quite surprised
that I made the doll and
loaded the dishwasher.
And blogged. And still awake.
Now I just need to tackle the
laundry folding and the smashed goldfish
on the ground.
Courtesy of Dmitri.
My favorite child.
:O)

My face hurts.
Thank you allergens.
Goodnight.
