Happy Easter - some more!

I LOVE Easter!

I love the colors, the significance,
the decorations - everything!

I'm kind of bummed I have absolutely
no Easter decor :[ I seriously have looked,
and found NOTHING!
So unfortunately my house is Easter less - but
in decor only! We have the Easter spirit going on.
:)

So today was errand day!
Well - after the nap of course.
Daniel worked last night and I pulled another
late nighter - cause I'm dumb.
I went to bed at 2:30am, woke up at 7 - then
Dmitri went down for his nap at 10 - and so did I!
I slept till 1pm. Thank you Dmitri!
It still took so much effort to get up at 1 though :[
So yes. Daniel asked me to wake him up around 1,
so I did. Then I ran out to do some errands while he
watched Dmitri. I went to Fabric Mart [Oh lala] and
then to Goodwill where I scored some AWESOME
pillowcases that I plan to make into dresses. I'll post
about that later though. I also found a cute BRAND NEW
pair of sandals for Dmitri for $2.99! Sweet sweet.
Oh - and some nice large frames for $2.99!
Oh - so right when I walked in, I saw this brand new in
box baby mobile. Of course. It was $12.99. I thought
about getting it, but decided I'll go with the one I
made him. Lame! Of course that would happen to me!
Ohwell.

So I ordered some fabric online the other day,
and I can't wait to get it!
I'm going to make it [along with the fabric I got
today at Fab mart] into a quilt for our bed.
Super excited.

So I'm attempting an Easter dinner tomorrow.
I have high hopes for it - so I hope all goes well.
I of course waited till the last minute.
I went to Foodland grocery store tonight
and they only had a few hams left. They were
20 pounders!! Since that would take us a year
or more to eat - I decided to bite the bullet and drive
the extra 15 mins to Safeway.
I found the cutest ham! Seriously it's adorable.
It's like 4lbs and I predict it'll be nice and tasty!
Along with our little porker I'm making mashed
potatoes, yams, deviled eggs, asparagus and rolls.
Along with a yum yum chocolate cheesecake dessert.
Fantastic!

So the Easter bunny came last night, and
left some nice little baskets!
I had to be creative with Dmitri's because
he obviously can't have candy yet. So I found some
deals on toys and books. He also got a bag a baby goldfish.
My fab deal for Dmitri's Easter outfit - I of
course bought his shirt and tie onsale, but
I went in there yesterday and they
had these adorable white loafers!
They were originally $14.50 [I think]
but they were marked $7.99 but then had
an additional markdown, so they were $4.19!
I love it!
Daniel got some candy and an Easter outfit.
[dress shirt, tie and slacks. Even dad's need Easter outfits!:]
We have a Banana Republic Outlet down the
street, so that's were I got his. Everything is
the store is always 40% off - but I got an
exceptionally awesome deal on his slacks!
They were originally $89, but had been marked
down a few times. The last mark down was $27.99,
and they also qualified for the 40% off.
So they were $16!! I was super stoked about
his pants too :D
And my skirt - this may sound weird, but
I found it on a trip to Goodwill for frames. It's
a grass green color and accented with white flowers.
It had the original tags still on, and I got it for $6.99!
Booyah!

So the ham is cooking - and it smells delish so far!
Still keeping my fingers crossed :)

mention. My mom took a class to learn
how to make some stuffed animals.
She made these adorable bunnies for Dmitri!
I love them. They always make me smile seeing them.
And Dmitri loves them too!
