About Me

My photo
We are Daniel and Sara. We met October of 2006 and were married August of 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then we're kind of in the fast lane. We both got the baby bug pretty early on in our marriage and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Dmitri in August 2008! We couldn't be happier! Daniel is a Captain in the Army and has his Bachelors in Nursing. We're living in HI and so far are enjoying our time here! I'm a stay at home mommy and am looking forward to finishing school. Blah :} Dan enjoys; hunting, basketball, shooting ranges, movies, *sigh - video games and Halloween. Sara enjoys; crocheting, baking, aquariums, sewing, shopping, swimming and trying to get organized. Dmitri enjoys; trying new food, crawling, bath time, stroller rides, electronics and getting into things he shouldn't. It takes all kinds to make up a family - and we cherish and love our little family! :)

Our fun filled week!

Well last week was a busy and FUN week for us! We got a lot of family time in - and we loved it! Tuesday Daniel's brother Isaac came home from his mission [he went to Anaheim]. That night the family got together for dinner and it was yum! It was nice to finally have everyone there - and it's always fun to watch the grandkids play together :)
My Aunt Denise and cousins Tiffany and Cameron came into town as well. I had seen Aunt Denise last year - but hadn't seen Tiffany and Cameron in maybe 10 years! Crazy how they've grown! The last time I'd seen Cameron he was barely up to my waist. Now he's prolly a foot taller then me. It was definitely nice seeing them and catching up.
On Friday morning Daniel and I picked up my brother Roger and his family from the airport. They came up for Dmitri's blessing [it was on Sunday]. I always love seeing Kallan and Ashlyn. It amazed me how much they'd grown since I saw them last.

When we arrived at Grandma Debby and Papa's house - Grandma Debby had to show Kallan her garden. They picked out some yummy veggies that we ate for lunch.

We all had a good time that day. The kids [and adults] enjoyed some trampoline time. Roger, dad, Daniel and Craig went for a round of afternoon golf - while the girls got some chat and hangout time in. Ooo! I made a fabulous pear pie! It was delicious - and yes - I'm tooting my own horn :) So we had that for dessert, and mom's fabulous enchiladas for dinner. Mmm! Lol it was also a very food filled week.

Sunday was a very special day for our new little family. It was the day of Dmitri's blessing. He was dressed in his first little tux [adorable] and we had so much love and support surrounding us. Dmitri was so calm and awake the whole morning - luckily he didn't cry through the blessing. Daniel did a wonderful job. It just brought me so much joy listening to the words he spoke. There was a nice big circle of priesthood holders which also warmed my heart. After the blessing Daniel handed Dmitri to me. Dmitri just looked over at Daniel and kept giving him the biggest smiles! It was just adorable. It was a very special morning.
Following sacrament we headed over to Mike and Jennie's ward for little Sophie's blessing! She looked gorgeous in her little dress! I loved it! XD Mike did a wonderful job as well - such loving words spoken that day and such a strong spirit.

After Sophie's blessing Daniel and I hurried to the house where our family was waiting. Our mom's prepared a delicious breakfast brunch for everyone and our sister's brought some yummy side dishes to go with. We did some mingling and picture taking. The nieces and nephews had a blast! Chloe and Kallan were too dang cute! They were playing pirates and they were both captains. So so cute!

Minus Janine and Cassie :(

Sadly Roger and Jen left on Monday. But they will be back in November - so hopefully we can get some more time in with them!
Kallan is always so funny - but my favorite Kallan thing is when I was holding Dmitri, he came and sat next to me and then starts talking to Dmitri. He was playing with Dmitri's hand and said "He has fingernails! He has tiny fingernails!" and then laughed about it. Lol it was sooooo cute! Then before we left for the airport, Kallan was sad and didn't want to leave. I tried to make him feel better, and he said "I can't leave. I didn't get to say goodbye to Daniel." It was so precious! I called Daniel up so Kallan could say goodbye. Lol I love that boy! XD

Monday night we got some Fedderson family fun in. We all went up Cottonwood Canyon for some hamburger roasting. It air smelled crisp and the changing leaves were beautiful! The kids loved throwing pebbles and sticks into the stream - and chasing "Tinkerbell." :) They were so stinkin' cute! Lol Dmitri slept the whole time - but he enjoyed it up there too!
