Weekend Happenings

Well, not last weekend... the weekend before that.

Dmitri was invited to a birthday party, for his friend Milo. 

Here is the card he wrote, to go on Milo's present.

If you can't tell -- it says; From: Dmitri To: Milo

 They had an Angry Bird party, and set up some little zones, where

kids could build their own angry bird scenarios.

{ps -- Dmitri insisted he wear these shoes. I would have opted for

something a bit sportier...:}

 Pretty sure this was one of his favorite activities at the party!

 They also had a pinata, which was brilliantly designed! It's not one

you hit, instead you pull strings at the bottom, and try to find the one that

releases the candy. 

{Milo's mom was also one of Dmitri's Sunbeam teachers}

 Blowing out the candles! Pretty sure I've mentioned this before -- but 

Dmitri is not a cake kid. Might be why I couldn't eat cake, while I was 

pregnant with him. It made me feel horrible afterwards! Anywhos... not

really an issue anymore! So I ate Dmitri's piece, as well as my own.......

 Checking out his loot! He was obsessed with collecting a many Angry Bird

clapping hands, as he could get!

 We had a fun time, celebrating with friends, and getting to 

enjoy our time out!

 I took these last pictures, on the same night. It might be a bit creepy,

but every now and then, I take closeup pictures of my kids, while they sleep!

That way I can see/remember exactly how they were, at a certain age.

 When I looked at this one, I was happy to see his same baby face. Even though 

he's bigger, he still has that same baby face. And I love it! Even if it is covered in

snot... -.-
