He did it!

We had been having a bit of trouble, getting Dmitri to walk into school on his own. 

He knows how to get to his classroom, and some days he'd walk right in. Then 

there were other days, where I had to beg/plead/threaten/bribe him, to go in! 

I talked to his teacher about it, and she said once he's in class, he's great! So that

was at least a relief. She mentioned starting a rewards chart for him, and even sent 

one home for us, along with some stickers. So everyday that he walked into class,
by himself, he got a sticker.

The chart had 25 days on it, which seemed very daunting to me! But Dmitri was

really excited, and motivated, to do it. 

When he filled up 5 days, he was rewarded with a little surprise Lego pack guy. 

Once he filled up all 25 days, he was rewarded with a trip to Build A Bear. 

We had a few off days, but all in all, it was a success! He filled up his whole chart,

and Friday after school, we headed to Build A Bear!

He picked out a dog, which he named Tail. He also bout Tail a police outfit {with

money he had been saving}. 

He had been to Build A Bear before, when he was about 2. He wasn't totally into it,

but this time was perfect! He was very inquesitive, and took a lot of time, to think 

over his choices, and weigh his options.

{sidenote -- see the glob on his left shoulder? Daniel asked him what it was, and Dmitri says;

"I don't know what it is, but let just call it a goober, for now." I'm pretty sure it's not nose related, but we still

don't know what it was, or where it came from! xP }

 Of course Tail needed a sound... and what did Dmitri pick? A very LONG One Direction song....

 

 Putting some life into him!

  

And giving him his first bath! When the lady was telling Dmitri, that he needed to

give Tail a bath, Dmitri got so excited, thinking he'd get to give him real baths at

home. I had to jump in and clarify, that he only needed a bath here, not NOT with water!

 All finished, and ready to go!!

 Tail has become apart of our family, in a very short time! He has gone everywhere with

us, since we brought him home on Friday. I need to get 'his voice' on video, because

I can't help but laugh, when Dmitri makes him talk! xP

Dmitri has already decided, that the next time he fills his chart up, he's going to get

a fireman outfit for Tail, and maybe a brother!
