We've been back from our trip, for about 2 weeks now.
It's time to finish up this Utah post!! :}

So Thursday May 26th {I'm so far behind, I have to
put dates!}, we headed out to Wheeler Farm. It's just
a cute little farm, where you can walk around and play
on tractors, and see the animals. I've blogged about it

a cute little farm, where you can walk around and play

before, and it's definitely a favorite of Dmitri's.

There were lots of holes to look in...

Dmitri loved the goats, along with the rabbits. He even
picked which rabbit he thought was the Easter Bunny.
Eck... and while looking at the rabbits, he goes underneath
one of the cages, and picks up some poop!! He said, "Look,
rabbit acorns!" Once we told him it was poop - he immediately
dropped them, and said eeeewww.... :}
But we had a fun time! Minus his big ol' splinter, he got
from one of the doors. It was pretty big, and deep. So we
covered it with a bandaid, until we got to Grandma's house.

Then we had to hold him down to get it out. Not fun. :[

He was not happy about his splinter....

This goat had some crazy light blue eyes! Daniel said it looked blind,
but I checked... it wasn't. It just has ice blue eyes!

Thursday night, we had the pre-wedding dinner - so the
families could get a chance to mingle. It was at Buca di Beppo.
They had ordered a ton of food ahead of time, so there was
a lot to eat! It was so so good! We had a room to ourselves,
which worked out best, especially since the kids just wanted
to run around. Dmitri ran out at one point, to go to the bathroom.
He didn't tell anyone... just figured he's find it, since Daniel had
taken him earlier. Other than that moment of panic... the
night was great!!

The boys thought this statue was pretty funny... :}

The happy couple!

The picture of Dmitri hanging from the coat rack - kind of cracks me up! :}

All the Fed kids together! With a few little extras, at the bottom.

And of course... they got silly stringed! Completely unexpected ;)

So Friday, we drove up to the Bountiful temple, for the wedding.
It was gorgeous! But a little breezy... The dress I had bought, was
sleeveless. I added sleeves, but when I saw that the weather was
going to be chilly, I took the sleeves off, and bought a white sweater.
Oh - also. My dress was originally khaki/beige, but I dyed it yellow,
because it was the wedding colors. I was happy that the dyeing worked,
and it didn't come out funky!
With the cooler weather, I couldn't help but put Dmitri in a suit jacket!
LOVE LOVE LOVE! So studly ;)

I may have taken... like 500 or so photos of the wedding/reception. So
some collages are in order!

Everything was perfect! The ceremony, us realizing that Daniel was
wearing my mom's knee highs... and not socks {he grabbed them off
the entry table, thinking I put them there for him...} which had me
laughing uncontrollably! And the opposite of that, I couldn't hold back
the tears during their ceremony. It was all so beautiful! Daniel asked
me ahead of time, if I was going to cry. I told him I hadn't decided yet.
But of course I did. He jinxed me. Jerk! :}

Dmitri was kind of a stinker. He would not stop laying {LAYING} in
the bushes! Sometimes even taking a flying leap into them... He also
enjoyed ripping flowers off their stems... and throwing them on the
ground, or in the water fountain. But we made it through... and got
some good pictures!
We had some time before the reception, so we headed to Olive Garden
for lunch. Not the best idea, because we had missed breakfast... so of
course we stuffed ourselves. Ugh... I may have had to be rolled out of
there! :}
Later that night, we headed to Gardner Village, for the reception. Since
it's one of our favorite places, we went a bit early, and walked around.
Dmitri slept the whole time... so Daniel and I indulged in some sweets,
and some fudge, from the candy shop!

Once everyone arrived, we took some family pictures - then the kids
ran around the courtyard. Dmitri was into EVERYTHING! He even
climbed the gazebo, that was covering the swing they had...

This seemed to be a theme of our trip {and there was two of us!}, Dmitri
got lost at the reception. After searching all over, he was sitting at a table,
eating food HE had gotten himself. Apparently he just cut in line, and helped
himself. If he wasn't so cute, I'd beat him up! :}

So that was the whole reason for our trip... and it was an eventful day! :)
Saturday, Daniel had a LAN party planned. He actually slept over at a
friends, on Friday night, and was there all Saturday, playing games.
My sister, Janine, took the day off. So we headed to the zoo! My sister
Candice came too... so it was a family affair!
We were excited about the dinosaurs they had advertised on tv... but
were a bit disappointed. Not as exciting as they made them out to be...
I guess that's how they get you there though! ;)

Sigh.... I really should have stretched these out. LOL this post has taken me FOREVER!
Monday {Memorial Day}, Dmitri stayed with his aunties and Grandma, while
Daniel and I went to visit our friend Haley, who had just had a baby!
I got to take some hospital pics for her - which was so fun! :D

After that, we headed up to Park City. It was pretty cold up there, luckily
we both brought jackets, and we even had a little bit of snow sprinkle on us!
Truth be told... Daniel and I love candy and sweet shops! So while in Park
City, we bought some goodies from Rocky Mountain Choc. Factory - and then
headed back to SLC, to hang out at Temple Square, and have dinner at The
Melting Pot.

Tuesday, Daniel went to lunch and a movie, with his friend Mike.
Dmitri and I went to Ikea, with my sister Cassie - and had lunch
there. I have some pics from there... like Dmitri's giant stuffed
carrot, and him shoving himself in a locker... but can't find my
phone at the moment. So check back ;)
Oh... and my sister Cassie lost Dmitri there. See... it was a theme
of our trip.... :[
Later that night, we went to Daniel's dad's house for dinner. Dmitri
loved feeding his dog, Annie, and dancing with Grandpa!
He also figured out how to change songs on Grandpa's computer...
so they danced to a variety of music! :}

On Weds, we visited with Pete, Haley, Olive and baby Grey again.
Dmitri had fun jumping on the trampoline with Olive, and swinging!

Then we stopped by Daniel's mom's house - for one last visit.
Uncle Isaac brought out his pet ferret. Daniel called it a muskrat
once... and Dmitri would not let it go. He kept calling it Muscratch.
He liked holding it... and when it would chase Uncle Isaac. It did
jump on Dmitri a couple times, which he didn't like, but over all,
Muscratch was a hit!

So we said our goodbyes, and headed on our way to Vegas - to
catch our flight {we bought our tickets late, and it was cheaper
this way}.
We've taken this drive a few times, with Dmitri, but it's always
with another couple. Well, Mike and Jennie. So he always has
Sophie in the back with him.
We didn't know how he'd do by himself, so we bought some DVD
players, to hang on the back of the seats. Yea... backfire. He just
wanted to play with them, pull the plugs out, etc.
Once we took them away, he was totally fine, and just occupied
himself. I swear, I have to only child that is not occupied by tv!
Good, yes. But sometimes it'd be a convenient distraction!
So our plan was to stop in St. George, and stay the night. Once
we hit St. George, at 10pm... Daniel decided to go to Mesquite.
So we drove through, and into Mesquite. We stayed the night
there, and left by 7 the next morning.
bus to the airport.
Dmitri did okay flying back. He was fine on the plane, but CRAZY
in the airports! He was just running like crazy.
{During his quieter moments...}
almost the entire flight!! He was so deep asleep, that he peed his
pants! We were NOT expecting him to sleep at all.
But it's good to be home! We haven't done much since we've been
back. Some swimming, a few playdates, and a few things here and
there. That will all be another post though. LOL I"m done typing for
now! :}
Oh - and more celeb sightings! Daniel saw John Lithgow getting off
a plane - and we saw Joan Rivers getting on a plane. Very exciting ;)
