One for the road...

I should blog... since we're off to California tomorrow!

I've been a horrible blogger/facebooker/blog stalker.
Inconvenience is the biggest problem. Laziness might
be the other.

Anywhos... tomorrow morning we are headed to my
hometown, to visit my brother and his family.
My nephew's birthday is next week, and his party is
this weekend... so that works out nicely!
Sidenote... I am not looking forward to the 9 hour car
ride.

But we'll be there until tues, I believe, so hopefully we
can squeeze a lot in!

Alrighty, Tuesday was mine and Daniel's 3 year wedding
anniversary!
I wish we could have celebrated together, but we'll take
care of that when he comes to visit in 2 weeks!!!
So I celebrated with the other love of my life, by going
to the Dinosaur museum.
It was $2 Tuesdays... and let me tell you, I will happily
pay full price after that mess! Oy.
But we still had fun, minus the INSANE crowd! I seriously
thought more kids would be in school.

Well, first I treated Dmitri to a McDonald's breakfast. I
decided to skip the drive thru, and we went in.
Umm... cutest and funniest McDonald's playground! He
was the only one there, so he got to do whatever he wanted.
It also meant I got to climb through the tunnels and down
the slide :}So after that, we hit up the museum.

Dmitri loves dinosaurs right now. Seriously, his dino rawr
might be the cutest thing in this whole world!!!Umm... for a kid who has probably seen more sand then most kids
his age, he was not loving the sand pit.
My mom conveniently works 2 minutes away from the
museum, so we met her for lunch. It was nice to just hang
out, eat and watch Dmitri play.

So it was a fun, yet busy anniversary!
We ended it with a trip to Ikea. Can't go wrong with that!

Today we went with my sister in laws {Dmitri's aunties}
and Dmitri's cousin's to Wheeler Farm.
Oh my, Dmitri LOVES animals! He's into a lot of things right
now, but seriously, I could have left him there, and he would
have been happy helping feed the animals and drive the
tractors.
He had to pet every animal. He thinks he's the animal whisperer...
So that was so so fun for him!

As we were driving away, he just kept saying "Moo moooo"

But yea, we've had fun!! And hopefully more fun to follow!

PS... I cannot even wait until Daniel gets here!! It's like the
days leading up to Christmas... they just seem to go backwards!
Maybe I should make a paper chain and start counting down!
