About Me

My photo
We are Daniel and Sara. We met October of 2006 and were married August of 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then we're kind of in the fast lane. We both got the baby bug pretty early on in our marriage and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Dmitri in August 2008! We couldn't be happier! Daniel is a Captain in the Army and has his Bachelors in Nursing. We're living in HI and so far are enjoying our time here! I'm a stay at home mommy and am looking forward to finishing school. Blah :} Dan enjoys; hunting, basketball, shooting ranges, movies, *sigh - video games and Halloween. Sara enjoys; crocheting, baking, aquariums, sewing, shopping, swimming and trying to get organized. Dmitri enjoys; trying new food, crawling, bath time, stroller rides, electronics and getting into things he shouldn't. It takes all kinds to make up a family - and we cherish and love our little family! :)

I really....

have nothing to blog about.
Well... I do have A LOT of pics. That's fun, right?

So Daniel's been gone a month now - crazy!
I think Dmitri and I have kept pretty busy, but
I feel like 4 months should be over by now!

So 1 month down... 3 to go! He bought a ticket to
Utah... and will be there a few days in September.
I cannot wait to see him!!!!
I know Dmitri is going to flip when he sees him!
We've been Skyping, and every time I open my
computer, Dmitri runs over and says "daddy!"

So he'll be happy to see him in person... as will I! :)

Well last week I got to take pictures of the cutest
little girl! We love her... and she knows how to work
it for the camera!!
Here are some of my faves!!

Dmitri had to stay in the stroller and eat his snacks
while we were doing picks. That's a lot for him... and
Houdini broke out a few times. But all in all he was good!

So this is cute Averie... :)
{isn't this hula outfit to die for?!?!}
So other than that, we haven't been doing much. Procrastinating,
playing, staying entertained.

Oh... so my birthday and mine and Daniel's anniversary is
coming up. So, I have wanted a new camera for a couple years
now. I love the one I've been using the past few years, but I
wanted one that does more - and I found one at an awesome
price - so Daniel said it can be my birthday and anniversary
present!!! I'm so so thrilled! And I love it!
I used it for Averie's pics above, and here are some randoms.
{please excuse the greasy handprints on the chair...}
OOoOOOo!! My awesome friend Lauren made me some
vinyl for my sugar and flour jars! I'm in love :DSo Dmitri's big on rubbing food on his head, dripping his
sippy cup on his head... etc... so how lovely does strawberry
look, along with some cinnamon toast face. Delish! Blah :}This pose makes me laugh :)So - Dmitri is usually pretty good when it comes to his shoes.
I say "Dmitri, go put your shoes on" and he picks a good pair,
usually gets them on the right feet... and we're good!
Lately, he's been stretching his independant wings. And he chose
this pairing. I went along with it. They're on the wrong feet, and
the pair on the right foot, are a size too big. But, he was happy
and got some chuckles at the store. So it was adorable :)And lastly... Dmitri LOVES music! Mainly people
playing instruments and singing.
So he was thrilled when we went to Target on 'Aloha Friday'
and the band was playing! So, we sat and watched them for
a bit.

And he got a stickier...

  2. Landon was completely intrigued by the music on your video. He smiled so big and tried to look around to see where it was coming from.

You did an amazing job on those pictures! What kind of camera did you get? We have the canon rebel. It's the older version. I want the newer one really badly!

  3. Why do little kids have to dump stuff in their hair? Andrew hates having his hair washed but he dumped a cup of apple juice on his head. So I guess he's just going to have to deal.
Love your pictures! You're so talented!
