Blog title block.... :}

First things first... Daniel had his first test on Friday.

He got... 95%!!!
So awesome... love my smartie pants hubby!
So he's been doing pretty good in Texas. The weather
has sucked, but he's had some good people to hang out
with. Friday night he went out with some of his
classmates to celebrate another classmate getting
promoted to captain. Not bad not bad! Dmitri
and I have just been chillin'. I had plans to go
to the pool on Thursday. I looked at the weather,
and it said 82... but it was overcast outside. So
I went with it anyways... got ready and headed
out the door. Then turned right around and came
back in. It was like 77, and totally breezy!! So it was
canceled. We opted for a trip to the store, along
with some lunch. Dmitri has this thing where he
has to bring a special something with him when
he leaves. It's never the same thing, just whatever
catches his attention at the moment. So that day
it was a webcam stand, one of Daniel's watches
and a pair of white sunglasses. The watch
actually looked pretty cute :)We dined on some pizza at Target, along with an icee, and
then grabbed a few things an headed home.So Thursday night, crappiest night of sleep ever!
I never totally got past the point of awareness, like
never into deep sleep. So I tossed and turned, was
startled by the washer turning on, and then by this
freaking gecko that has been living inside our bedroom
windowsill!
I woke up at 4 am to him chirping. Scared the crap
out of me... then it was just annoying. He will not go
away, and just chirped like a minute ago. Ugh! So I've
been trying to keep my room as cold as possible, so
that he'll go outside already!

So after waking up at 4am, and not being able to go
back to sleep... Dmitri decides to wake up at 5... and
was awake the whole rest of the day, until we went to
the store, and he passed out in the car. I transferred
him to the carrier and he slept the whole time, so that
was nice! Except that he was kind of excited to get out
of the house :\Saturday we had to say goodbye to Dmitri's buddy
Aiden. He's going to be gone for the next two months,
so that will be sad!
We made him a little Thomas bag, because he LOVES
Thomas. I totally wish I had videoed them hugging! It
was seriously so funny!!
They gave us some cookies, which Dmitri ripped right
into, so he had a cookie face, and some on his shirt.

So we tell them to hug, and Aiden looks at Dmitri and
says no, he's dirty. He'll get my shirt dirty. So his mom
told him to hug him from behind, so he did. It was too
cute. Then as we were leaving, we tell them to give
each other another hug, and Dmitri stretches out his
arms, and there was a little hug, then some chasing
because Dmitri decided he was done. It was adorable!

Well this morning, Dmitri woke up totally congested.
I was so not in the mood to teach, and didn't really
want to take him to church, but really didn't have a
choice. So I put Vick's all over him, gave him some
cold medicine and we were good to go.
He actually acted just fine, ate and played just fine, but
had a super icky nose and trouble breathing. But it
did get better throughout the day.

Ugh... my class was crazy. Mainly because we had a
ton of moths in the room {little ones} and they were
totally distracted by them and smashing them. But
they paid attention enough, and I was happy for that.

So that's all we've been doing. Pretty chill and just
hanging out.
Dmitri's voice started to go tonight, so we'll see how
things are tomorrow.
I really need to get us out of the house!!

Randoms...

I went to shower, and came out to grapes pushed
under the door... I was a little confused about what
they were at first... This was right before my shower... he was totally
into Harry Potter, like for 20 mins. Which kind of
surprised me, since it's not quite his style yet.This was swimming that didn't work out... just thought
he was cute! He was chasing the cameraAnd this was actually the day we went in for the TB results,
he had that sticker on his head for awhile....goodbye Dmitri's sunflower.... He now tries to wash dishes... probably just so he can have
an excuse to climb in the sink and play with the water and
dish sponge.
So he climbed up the counter, into the sink and started
trying to water the plant himself... with too much pressure.
It was fun while it lasted...

He misses Daniel so much :( The other day, Dmitri pulled
out a scrub top of Daniel's and asked me to put it on him. Here, he totally looks like Daniel to me. Love it!! :)Umm... and Dmitri doing the frog and kangaroo
