Before I forget - again

Before I forget to blog tonight....
Nothing really fun - just the norm.
Yesterday [Memorial Day] we hung
out at home. We debated on going out,
but decided we'd rather not deal with
the crowd or traffic.
We ended up BBQing some steaks for
dinner. Then took a walk and got
some ICE CREAM! Mmmm :]
We also rented 2 movies;
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
&
Underworld [for Daniel]
OMG Benjamin Button was the longest
movie EVER!
It was an okay movie. Just long - and
kind of depressing....
But that was our Memorial Day.

Today was another norm day.
I ran some errands - and we made
an attempt to go swimming. We
got our suits on - got our towels together
and almost out the door. Then realized -
IT"S TUESDAY! The pools closed on
Tuesday. Gah! So we didn't swim.
But it was so hot today - our house was
roasting.
So randoms of the day;
I was making dinner - and reached
for a can of green beans. I open the can
and pour a bit of the water out. I pour
and pour - but don't see any green beans.
Pour some more - no green beans.
Blah! I opened a can of chicken broth on
accident! And I totally wasted it which
sucks even more.
I bought the green beans and broth
from Target - and they're cans are totally
the same.
Lol so I blame Target :}
Also - I went out walking tonight and
totally got freaked out by a 4 yr old girl! XD
I was walking past a chain link fence, and I
see this shadow running across it [it was
dark out]. At first I thought it was a shadow
of something being lit up by headlights -
but it was going the wrong direction.
Lol I was seriously so confused - I have
no idea why. But then I realized "Oh -
it's a kid" when she rounded the corner
of the fence opening.
Well then I thought she was about to
take me out! She came up running
and was seriously so close to knocking
me over. She totally hovered behind
me for a little bit. Again - totally confused on
what was going on.
But then she ran past me and knocked
her brother over. Lol so I was safe.

I also made this observation while
walking.
Everyone I passed smelled really
good. They had either perfume, cologne,
or great shampoo - I don't know. But
they ALL smelled good! And then I
thought "man - when they pass me they
probably get grossed out." I can't
imagine I smell very good because I'm
all sweaty and nastified. Lol but
hopefully I don't let off an offending smell XD
But seriously - how do they sweat and
still smell so good?!
I just don't understand. But would like
to know!

So yea - woot woo! hopefully we get
more exciting :] I need to get some
pool or beach time in! I'm sure that
can make for good blogging :\

Oh - and Dmitri can officially clap
as of yesterday. Lol it's so cute!
I can't get him to do it on camera
though!
But I did get him doing this...
He's started making weird noises
on his arm - and he does it ALL the
time! I think it's funny :}

Dmitri went to bed at 7:30 tonight.
He was falling asleep while eating dinner

But I hope that doesn't mean
he's going to wake up earlier.
I don't want to wake up at 5AM! :\
