Unfortunately Daniel spent Valentine's weekend with the flu.
He put up a good fight though!
He started coming down with it on Thursday,
and it goes from bad - to good - to bad.
Poor guy :(
Saturday morning he started feeling better so
we decided to go to the mall for Valentine's gifts.
We had lunch there, and then headed over to Sephora.
Sad to say - I totally felt overwhelmed :(
Lol the excitment of it all did me in. That and since 99%
of my makeup is still packed away - I didn't want to get something
similar to an eyeshadow I already have - and then feel
like I wasted a purchase. Sad.
I did end up getting a perfume I kept forgetting I wanted!
I've wanted it for the last year, but for whatever reason
never ended up putting on a list of any sort.
So I got it - and yay! I love it :)
We didn't stay at the mall for too long.
Daniel started getting the chills and aches - so we decided to
head back home.
He ended up napping for most the afternoon - so I packed
up Dmitri up and we went out so Daniel could get some
peace and quiet.
Well - conveniently - the PX had some shorts and shoes I
wanted. So those went on my Valentines list.
And then poor Dmitri suffered through while I browsed
the makeup and purse sections there.
So yes - we just hung out the rest of the evening.
Daniel was feeling better this morning - so we headed to
church and had an enjoyable time at our new ward.
But! His flu has come back. So now he's sleeping [and Dmitri is sleeping]
so it's nice and quiet ;)
Except for those annoying kids outside.
Anywhos - hopefully Daniel feels TOTALLY better
by tomorrow because he has work.
It'll be an 8 hour shift - so though that is better then the
12 hours he's been working - it's still 8 hours of
being on his feet and non stop running around.
That and I don't think he can down
another dose of Theraflu.

BUMMER! SICK IS NO FUN. WELL YOU WERE ABLE TO PICK YOUR OWN VALENTINES SURPRISE AND THAT IS ALWAYS FUN! HOPE DAN IS BETTER!
