Today today.

Well Daniel had to work today [but is off tomorrow!] so it was just me and Dmitri.
Nothing really special today.
We walked to the store this morning and killed some time.
Then came back so Dmitri could nap.
He took a NICE long nap - so that was good for me.
I got through a good part of my book - hopefully I can finish it soon!
After his nap he was getting a bit restless - so I loaded him up in his stroller again - and out we went.
We just walked around base.
They have a park not too far from us, so we hung out there.
Dmitri had a good time watching all the kids playing, and feeling the "grass"
They really don't have grass here [from what I've seen].
The grass at the park was a bunch of clovers and what looked like weeds to me.
They also have this green spongy ground cover that's fun to walk on - so they pass that off as grass too.
I brought my camera because I wanted to take some pics of the flowers that are here.
And some of the birdies! There are a TON of Cardinal's here.
I wouldn't think they'd have any here - but they're everywhere!

Let see... after the park Dmitri and I walked to the store to find something to make for dinner.
That's been a bit of a challenge. We only have a microwave and a fridge - so we have to work with what we got!
I've only "made" dinner tonight and last night - and both dishes turned out pretty good - considering.
I guess today was a big day for Dmitri.
He fell asleep in his stroller on the way back to our room.
I left him in there - and he's been sleeping for the last hour.
Even with all the loud kids outside.
Daniel's home in an hour!
Woohoo! :D
Hopefully we can get out and do something fun tomorrow.
It was a bit chilly today - so hopefully tomorrow's warmer.
I had text him earlier today - and heard back a few hours later.
He said it's been a busy day.
So hopefully that's good - and his day went fast!
