About Me

My photo
We are Daniel and Sara. We met October of 2006 and were married August of 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then we're kind of in the fast lane. We both got the baby bug pretty early on in our marriage and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Dmitri in August 2008! We couldn't be happier! Daniel is a Captain in the Army and has his Bachelors in Nursing. We're living in HI and so far are enjoying our time here! I'm a stay at home mommy and am looking forward to finishing school. Blah :} Dan enjoys; hunting, basketball, shooting ranges, movies, *sigh - video games and Halloween. Sara enjoys; crocheting, baking, aquariums, sewing, shopping, swimming and trying to get organized. Dmitri enjoys; trying new food, crawling, bath time, stroller rides, electronics and getting into things he shouldn't. It takes all kinds to make up a family - and we cherish and love our little family! :)

Negativity city!

Oh so today's been one of those days.
You know the ones.
You want to yank out your hair and give death eyes to everyone that
looks at you.
But that's putting it lightly.
I mean - really things weren't horrible - but you know when you're in a mood -
and every little thing just makes it worse?
I guess that was it.
Daniel was off today - so we decided to tackle at least one car inspection.
We took the WRX to get inspected - and waited in the longest line ever to do it.
The inspection ended up taking like 3 hours.
Well - we also had them do the tire.
But still - 3 hours.
We grabbed lunch at this restaurant called Zippy's.
It's like a big thing here in HI. At least I think it is.
They're everywhere.
They're also kind of bleh.
I didn't care for the menu or food - and neither did Daniel.
I hate it when you order and eat your food - you immediately wish
you had gotten something else.
It was like that.
Anyways - ate at Zippy's then decided to check out a movie.
We saw Push.
Bad idea Dmitri wise. He wasn't up for just sitting and hanging out.
That and the theater was -3 degrees.
But I spent a lot of the movie standing in the back of the theater.
He fell asleep for a bit - but then woke back up and decided to be chatty.
:}
Well luckily the movie killed enough time and when we got out the car was done.
Went to pay and pick it up...
They told up it didn't pass.
Why didn't it pass?
Oh - because our TINT IS TOO DARK!
Are you freaking kidding me?!
I swear 99.9% of the cars in the parking lot had darker tint
then our car. And they all had HI plates and passed inspection stickers!
Are you freaking kidding me?!
So the tint we put on 4 months ago now needs to
be removed?!
Yes.
Freaking lame!
I was so peeved.
Like literally was in the mood to hurt someone.
Especially the guy that said "Yea - Hawaii has really strict tint laws."
BULL THEY DO!
Gah.
I need to find out what our tint grade is - because it's not very dark - and I could have sworn they are 35% - which is what HI's is.
Anyways - Daniel called around and found out that
all places charge for removing the old tint - then for putting the new tint on.
Of course they do.
Why wouldn't they?
Geh!
Lol so that put me in a bad mood.
especially since we have to do it for both cars.
On top of being mad at that - we get back to the
hotel to the echoing sound of kids playing war games.
I hate this hotel.
There were some people having a party or something last
night and they were being SO loud!
It was like 1:30 AM!
I looked out my window but couldn't see anyone.
I think their voices just carried over to our side.
Why do so many people lack common courtesy?
I'm sorry to anyone that reads this.
It's very negative and probably whiney.
But whateve.
Oh - and apparently some fruit flies hatched in our room.
Cause I killed like 10 hanging around on the bathroom floor.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
It's Dmitri's 6 month appt - and I always enjoy finding
out how much he's grown.
Sigh.... sigh sigh.

  3. Do they see your UT plates or have any idea you're from out of town? I'll bet that's why they're being punks.
