About Me

My photo
We are Daniel and Sara. We met October of 2006 and were married August of 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then we're kind of in the fast lane. We both got the baby bug pretty early on in our marriage and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Dmitri in August 2008! We couldn't be happier! Daniel is a Captain in the Army and has his Bachelors in Nursing. We're living in HI and so far are enjoying our time here! I'm a stay at home mommy and am looking forward to finishing school. Blah :} Dan enjoys; hunting, basketball, shooting ranges, movies, *sigh - video games and Halloween. Sara enjoys; crocheting, baking, aquariums, sewing, shopping, swimming and trying to get organized. Dmitri enjoys; trying new food, crawling, bath time, stroller rides, electronics and getting into things he shouldn't. It takes all kinds to make up a family - and we cherish and love our little family! :)

Some North Shore beachin' and without internet for 3 days. Boo!

The last couple days has been filled with house hunting. Kind of exciting - but kind of overwhelming. We've seen a few we really like - one we pretty much love and others that just wont work. So we're trying to weigh pros and cons on each - and hopefully come to a final decision tomorrow - or narrow the list down even more.
It's harder house hunting then I thought. At one point all the houses just blend together - and I have no idea which is which after we leave them. So lame.
Daniel's been busy at the hospital with paper work - and Dmitri and I have been passing time on the base. We've taken a couple walks around and looked and the birds and different plants and flowers. Everything Dmitri touches - he tries to eat. Lovely :)
We also hit up the North Shore of Oahu the other day. We went out a little later in the afternoon - so not much sun and we didn't stay very long - but had a good time none the less.
We got to see a sea turtle on the beach - that was really cool. And Dmitri got some sun time in - though he was SLATHERED in sun block.
The internet at the hotel keeps going on and off - which is SUPER obnoxious. Luckily it was back on this afternoon - and so far so good!
Anywhos - that's what we've been up to :) Hopefully we'll be able to post about a new house very soon.

  1. i like you capitalized slathered. it's SO true. andrew was covered in sun block every time we went out. but it's better then the alternative. sun burned baby= not fun.
