About Me

My photo
We are Daniel and Sara. We met October of 2006 and were married August of 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then we're kind of in the fast lane. We both got the baby bug pretty early on in our marriage and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Dmitri in August 2008! We couldn't be happier! Daniel is a Captain in the Army and has his Bachelors in Nursing. We're living in HI and so far are enjoying our time here! I'm a stay at home mommy and am looking forward to finishing school. Blah :} Dan enjoys; hunting, basketball, shooting ranges, movies, *sigh - video games and Halloween. Sara enjoys; crocheting, baking, aquariums, sewing, shopping, swimming and trying to get organized. Dmitri enjoys; trying new food, crawling, bath time, stroller rides, electronics and getting into things he shouldn't. It takes all kinds to make up a family - and we cherish and love our little family! :)

Posts posts posts - October must be my month!

So today today - Daniel, Dmitri and I headed out to Gardner Village. It was all decked out for Halloween - tons of pumpkins and of course the witches. We love to just walk around and see the shops - and make a stop at the candy store :}

Such handsome guys!

We took some pic. I wish we had taken more of Dmitri. They had all these little hay and pumpkin scene to pose at. Unfortunately he slept through most the trip - and I wasn't about to wake that boy up!
Oh we finally decided to try Archibald's restaurant. It was pretty delious. I ate way too much and felt like I could spew at any moment. Happy to say that didn't happen though :)
Also today - I had my 6 week out [even though I'm 8] appointment. I had to wait in the lobby for 40 mins before I was called back. I thought I'd go right in and out, so I didn't bring the diaper bag. Dumb call. Dmitri woke up hungry and screamed most the appointment.

My war wound

While I was there I received my first flu shot. I'm super excited to test it out. Daniel doesn't believe in them so much - so I'm on my own here :)

Mmm - so I also stopped by Babies R Us [cause I'm now addicted to that store] and bought some lavender baby lotion. It is fabulous! It smells yum and Dmitri seemed a bit more relaxed. He was cooing while I was massaging his little legs and arms. Such a doll :) So yes - I recommend. Oh - so while I was combing Dmitri's hair out, I realized how long it's getting! He's going to need a haircut soon and he's only 2 months! His hair is so fun though - I love it

See how long!

Oh - below is our Gardner Village photos

  4. andrew is the same way. we would try SO hard to get him to smile for the camera. and wouldn't. and then as soon as you would put the dang thing away he'd start cooing and smiling. i really think it's only been in the last month that he's been all smiles for the camera. sometime. cute pictures of your family.
