Our hectic weekend.

So we are FINALLY in our place!
LOl unfortunately our stuff is still out of place.
We can not believe how much stuff we have.
It was kind of embarrassing when the movers
were bringing stuff in. Things just kept
coming and coming. We literally had boxes
stacked EVERYWHERE!
We had to create walking paths.
And it was so overwhelming at first. But
this morning I came to the realization
it's easier to deal with actually items then it
is with boxes. So I unpacked a lot and started
from there. I think we've unboxed about 75 or 85%
of our stuff.
At first it was kind of like Christmas - especially
when I was unpacking our kitchen stuff.
That feeling didn't last though. My
fingers got raw pretty quick.

Dang - I've had some of my kitchen stuff
[packed] for almost 5 years. So long I even
found a hair from one of the family dogs
that past away almost 4 years ago :[
Maybe I'll clone her :}

We seriously got rid of 5 LARGE bins of clothes.
Well - soon to get rid of. They're sitting outside
the front door.
We still have boxes everywhere, but our room
is set up [not organized though].
Dmitri's room is a mess :}
He's sleeping in his pack and play still
because we haven't found the box with
the screws for his crib yet.
Last night he slept in his OWN room!
That is a big step for me. So tonight will
be night number two.
He actually woke up just once last night.
The past month or so he's been fussing
in his sleep - which hasn't been fun for me.
So hopefully he'll continue this streak.

So our kitchen is all organized
and our bathrooms are decorated.
SO yay for 2 1/2 rooms down!

Daniel's still a little sick, and we
think Dmitri picked up a bit of it.
I have an icky throat and nose
in the morning and evenings.
Hopefully it's just from having
the ceiling fans on while we sleep.

But our area is nice. Pretty quiet
and it feels good.
We're in a good location and
I like that the outside lights are
on all night.

So yes - this entire weekend
we have been unpacking and
organizing. We've made a bit of
a dent - but have a ways to go.
I'm sure we'll weed through a lot
more things.
How do we have so much stuff?!

Oh - so the people above us.
We're kind of confused on the
situation. We know it's at least
a guy and his girlfriend there.
There may be another guy that
apparently owns the place -
but a little kid has made
an 'appearance.'
We can hear her [I think a her]
laughing, running around and
jumping. That's fine in the day time -
but it's 10:45 pm on a Sunday -
so I'd assume she'd be heading to
bed like the rest of us.
Lol I think I'm a bit ornery sometimes.
Oh - they also have a little dog.
Blah!
I think the little girl is just there
on weekends though.
At least that's what I've gathered so far.

Anyways - it's SO nice to be in our
own place! Everything is ours
and it's so quiet [comparatively].
