About Me

My photo
We are Daniel and Sara. We met October of 2006 and were married August of 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then we're kind of in the fast lane. We both got the baby bug pretty early on in our marriage and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Dmitri in August 2008! We couldn't be happier! Daniel is a Captain in the Army and has his Bachelors in Nursing. We're living in HI and so far are enjoying our time here! I'm a stay at home mommy and am looking forward to finishing school. Blah :} Dan enjoys; hunting, basketball, shooting ranges, movies, *sigh - video games and Halloween. Sara enjoys; crocheting, baking, aquariums, sewing, shopping, swimming and trying to get organized. Dmitri enjoys; trying new food, crawling, bath time, stroller rides, electronics and getting into things he shouldn't. It takes all kinds to make up a family - and we cherish and love our little family! :)

AHH!

Oh geez Louise.
We need to get our cars registered here - so we don't get a FAT ticket if ever pulled over.
We went to Goodyear yesterday to get inspections done.
I need to say this - I hate Goodyear.
I have NEVER heard anything good about them - and don't like dealing with them.
I prefer Big O.
Well they don't have a Big O here, so we went to Goodyear.
Unfortunately the WRX has a cracked windshield - so it wont pass inspection till it's fixed.
So we ended up just having them fix our flat tire.
We had gone to another shop and told they couldn't find the leak - but Daniel could hear it leaking whenever he filled it up. And of course - it just keeps deflating.
Well anyways - they told us we could take it somewhere else, but never mentioned anything about having to get the tire replaced.
We took it to Goodyear yesterday - and it took them freakin' 2 hours!
The guy comes in as says okay - it's done. It'll be $22.
Ok. Not bad.
He charges our card - but then says - oh wait.
He goes to the back and is gone for a few minutes.
He comes back and says - they didn't fix the tire, you'll need a new one.
And it's going to cost you $200.00 so I'll go ahead and charge your card and we'll change it. ANd we'll just add the $22 already charged as a credit. But first I need to see if the tires in stock.
Daniel told them no. He told them to refund the $22
The guy left again and Daniel called another company really quick. The company gave him a WAY better quote. So we'll go there.
So first we're going to see if we actually need a new tire. If we do - we'll go to the second place.
Boo!
Oh so I went to get the windshield replaced on the WRX today. I do all the paper work - give them the keys, sit down, open me book and start reading.
They come in and say "Oh, your windshield is heated." I say "okay...."
They told me they'll have to use a different windshield - which they don't have instock. They'll have to order it from the dealer and that takes about a week.
Double boo.
They can use a regular windshield - but aren't sure if it will mess with the defrost. If it doesn't we might just have them put a regular one on. So we can get the car registered faster.
We'll see. I need to do some research.
So that one wasn't their fault. We actually had no idea our windshield was heated. I don't know why it's heated either.
Anyways - just a rant about Goodyear.
They're a pain in the rear to deal with.
