About Me

My photo
We are Daniel and Sara. We met October of 2006 and were married August of 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then we're kind of in the fast lane. We both got the baby bug pretty early on in our marriage and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Dmitri in August 2008! We couldn't be happier! Daniel is a Captain in the Army and has his Bachelors in Nursing. We're living in HI and so far are enjoying our time here! I'm a stay at home mommy and am looking forward to finishing school. Blah :} Dan enjoys; hunting, basketball, shooting ranges, movies, *sigh - video games and Halloween. Sara enjoys; crocheting, baking, aquariums, sewing, shopping, swimming and trying to get organized. Dmitri enjoys; trying new food, crawling, bath time, stroller rides, electronics and getting into things he shouldn't. It takes all kinds to make up a family - and we cherish and love our little family! :)

Date night with Daniel

and Dmitri! :)
We decided we needed to get out and go eat somewhere other then the lobby. So we did.
We hit up Sizzler [I'm a total Sizzler fan. My friend Amanda can attest to that!] and it was delish!
I thought it was better then in UT - but Daniel disagrees. We did both agree that they fruit was fabulous! It was the PERFECT ripness and sweetness.
They had a pretty good salad bar which even included fried zucchini - mmm!
I got the endless shrimp and salad bar, and Daniel had the teriyaki steak and salad bar.
Dmitri had his bottle - water from the straw [his fave] and he got to try watermelon, honey dew and pineapple.
Loved them!
He especially enjoyed sucking the juice off the watermelon rind.
So we had a great night.
Tomorrow we're considering a movie - and trying the find this lookout spot where you can watch whales. That'd be so awesome! So hopefully it works out.
Oh - I also gave Dmitri fresh bananas yesterday. He liked it alright - but sense I had to mash it up - it was incredibly messy and would slide out his mouth while he was chewing :X So I'll have to invest in a plastic bib - not cloth.
K - and I have to brag about how cute Dmitri is. He likes to do "tricks" while he's in the bathtub. Basically he just splashes as much and as fast as he can - then waits for you to smile and clap for him. Then he stops and basks in the glory. And then he does his "tricks" again and so on.
He also likes to play the peek a boo game. I don't think he really understands it - just likes the surprise of it :)
